EVENTS
Community Family Fun Day
Sunday, March 4th
Two great events rolled into one...
First, Pack A Pew! We will have one combined service at 10:30 - 11:45am. Our goal is to break our record Sunday attendance. We are asking families to pick a pew and fill it up with your family and friends. There will be a treat for the top two "packers"...you will get to throw a pie in the faces of Pastor Fred and Pastor Allen!
Then at 12:00 - 3:00pm our Community Event begins! There will be free food - hot dogs, chips, drinks, and popcorn - Live music - Scott Brown, Christian Country Music Artist & Rodeo Star; True Gain, Contemporary Christian Band, as well as our own worship bands. We will also have many carnival games - for ALL ages (toddlers to adults!), bounce houses, face painting, cotton candy, snow cones, finger printing, venders and much more!
This event is open to everyone! It is our desire to reach out to our community and just have a time of family fun! Everyone is welcome to join us in our morning worship service at 10:30am, too! Contact the church office (386-789-2400 or dlbc@cfl.rr.com) if you have any questions.
Come on out, Deltona, and let's have some FUN!
ON-LINE GIVING
Dlbc is pleased to announce the introduction of an electronic option for making regular offerings. Contributions can now be debited automatically from your checking or savings account (or processed using your debit card). Our new electronic giving program offers convenience for you and much-needed donation consistency for our congregation.
If you are currently giving on a weekly basis, you will no longer need to write out 52 checks a year or prepare 52 envelopes. And, when travel, illness or other circumstances prevent you from attending services, this program will allow your weekly offerings to continue on an uninterrupted basis.
The link to the On-Line Giving is the red "GIVE NOW" button under the picture of DLBC on the home page of the church web site. We will also have authorization forms to fill out and turn in to the church office if you want DLBC to automatically debit your checking or savings account on a regular basis. "Frequently Asked Questions" brochures will be available at the Welcome Center in the lobby also.
MIDWEEK SERVICE
MIDWEEK SERVICE - Wednesday Evenings at 6:30pm in the Fellowship Hall
Come join us on Wednesday Evenings for a mid-week boost! We sing Praise and Worship songs, have prayer time and currently we are studying the book of Hebrews. This is also an excellent way to worship with us for those times when you cannot make the weekend services.
House of Prayer
"My House shall be called A HOUSE OF PRAYER" ---Jesus
"There's no telling what God can do when God's people begin to Pray." (from "When God's People Pray by Jim Cymbala"
"I will say to the Lord, "My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust!" Psalm 91:2
God's Word is full of His promises. Psalm 138 vs 2 says "I bow before your holy Temple as I worship. I praise your name for your unfailing love and faithfulness; for your promises are backed by all the honor of your name."
As you pray, ask the Holy spirit to pour Himself into your life, to manifest Himself in new, fresh, and more powerful ways. Thank God for His faithfulness in hearing the prayers of His obedient people and for fulfilling the promises found in His Word. Then begin praying back those promises to our God who delights in answering the prayers of His people.
Copies of some of God's promises are available at the Welcome Center in the Lobby.
